System Administrator and Security Operations practitioner with hands-on production experience in Linux administration, Linux clustering, network segmentation, SIEM-based monitoring, incident response, and infrastructure-as-code. I operate a 3-node Proxmox VE cluster with Ceph distributed storage, an OPNsense firewall with trust-segmented VLANs, and a Wazuh SIEM running across every service VM for centralized log collection, file-integrity monitoring, rootkit detection, and security-event correlation. The full lifecycle is automated with OpenTofu and Ansible, backed by a private Git server with integrated CI. Backups follow the 3-2-1 rule across Proxmox Backup Server, ZFS snapshots, and one encrypted offsite cloud copy, with multi-layer monitoring of service reachability, host metrics, and backup-job completion. On the open-source side, I contribute to security-sensitive Matrix Foundation projects: Element-X Android (the Matrix Foundation's official end-to-end-encrypted Android client) and mautrix-whatsapp (a bidirectional Matrix-to-WhatsApp bridge). I also wrote Secret Stripper, a cross-platform Rust CLI that redacts over 700 types of sensitive data from the clipboard via a global hotkey.
